Who provides the advice?  How do I know they are any good?

Services at the Centre are provided by Portsmouth Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) and YOU.  Portsmouth CAB has a long tradition of providing general advice to the people of the city.

YOU has provided expert specialist advice in Portsmouth for over 20 years. It is accredited by the Gurkha Free Legal Advice and holds their quality charter mark.


How do I comment on the service I receive?

It’s really important that we find out what you think about the service we offer. If you come for advice, we will ask you for your opinion at the end of our work with you.

If you wish to make a complaint about the service you can do so:

  • in writing to the Centre, addressed to the Centre Manager
  • in person
  • by telephone.

The Portsmouth Gurkha Free Legal Advice Centre is jointly funded by Portsmouth City Council and the Gurkha Free Legal Advice.
