Magistrates Court Fines

Do you have a Magistrates Court fine?

If the magistrates court convicts you of a criminal offence it may impose a fine, which is payable to the court. If you do not pay the fine, the court may issue a distress warrant. This warrant empowers a bailiff to seize things you own, which will then be sold to clear your debt.
(Please note: criminal offences do not include non-payment of council tax or child support.)
